Delete your SnapDoc data

SnapDoc (com.dkolla.snapdoc), operated by Pink Sky, does not have sign-up, log-in or user accounts, so there is no account to delete. This page explains where your data lives and how to remove it.

Your scanned documents

Scans, PDFs and extracted text are processed and stored only on your phone, in SnapDoc's private folder. They are never uploaded to us.

  1. Open SnapDoc and go to My documents.
  2. Delete the documents you no longer want.

To remove everything at once, uninstall SnapDoc, or open Android Settings → Apps → SnapDoc → Storage and tap Clear data.

Google Drive backup (optional)

If you chose to back up your documents, the PDFs are in a SnapDoc folder in your own Google Drive. SnapDoc only has access to files it created itself.

  1. Open Google Drive and delete the SnapDoc folder (then empty the Drive bin).
  2. Remove SnapDoc's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Anonymous usage counters and ads

The app uses an anonymous Firebase ID so it can add to daily usage totals (for example, how many times the app was opened). The ID has no name, email or documents attached, and the totals are kept per day, not per person, so nothing personal is stored. Uninstalling SnapDoc removes the ID from your phone.

Ad partners may use your Android advertising ID. You can reset or delete it in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Ad-free purchase

Purchases are handled by Google Play. To cancel, open the Play Store, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting your documents does not cancel a subscription.
