How it works
- Add a PDF.
- Type the pages to keep, such as 1-3, 5, 8-.
- Extract them into one PDF, or save each page separately as a ZIP.
Two ways to split a PDF
Extract pages: type the pages you want and get one new PDF. Save each page: every page becomes its own PDF inside a ZIP file.
Writing page ranges
- 1-3 means pages 1 to 3.
- 5 means page 5 only.
- 8- means page 8 to the end.
- -4 means the first four pages.
- 1-3, 7, 10- combines several ranges in one go.
Order and deleting pages
Pages appear in the new file in the order you type them, so 5, 1, 3 creates a PDF with those pages in that order. To delete a page, list the pages you want to keep. For example, to remove page 3 from a 10-page file, enter 1-2, 4-.
Common uses
- Send only the relevant pages of a long document.
- Remove a cover page or a blank page.
- Pull one form out of a bundle of scanned files.
- Put pages in a different order.
Notes
Your original file is not changed. Password-protected PDFs cannot be split. After you add a file, the page count is shown so you can check your ranges.

- Type all the pages you want to keep. To remove page 3 from a 10-page file, enter 1-2, 4-.
