About SnapDoc

Scan documents to PDF or text without uploading them. SnapDoc is a free document scanner that runs entirely in your browser.

A file goes into the SnapDoc browser window and comes out converted. A crossed-out cloud shows that nothing is uploaded.

What SnapDoc does

Automatic edge detection works best for a light page on a darker surface, and PDF files cannot be imported yet. We are improving it steadily, and feedback helps us decide what to build next.

Why it is private

Photos and camera frames are processed by your browser on your own device. Cropping, filters and PDF creation all happen locally. Because your photos and scans never reach our servers, we cannot read, store or share them. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.

Free, without the usual catches

There is no signup, no watermark and no daily limit for normal use. The site may show advertising in the future to cover its costs, and we will keep the tools free to use.

Who makes it

SnapDoc is part of Dkolla, a family of web and mobile products from Pink Sky, a company based in Karachi, Pakistan.
