Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By using SnapDoc at dkolla.com/snapdoc (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Pink Sky, Karachi, Pakistan.
2. The Service
SnapDoc is a free document scanner that runs in your web browser. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service at any time, and we may add limits or paid features in the future.
3. Your files
Your photos and scans stay on your device and are not uploaded to us. You keep all rights to your files. You are responsible for having the right to use and process them, and you must not use the Service to process content that is unlawful.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for anything illegal or to infringe the rights of others.
- Do not try to disrupt, overload or attack the Service or the servers that host it.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape or copy the site at a scale that harms it.
- Do not copy our name, logo or design in a way that suggests you are us.
5. Results and accuracy
OCR results can contain mistakes, especially with handwriting, decorative fonts or low-quality photos, and accuracy for Urdu and other complex scripts is limited. Always proofread extracted text. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice, and you should check the output before relying on it for legal, financial, medical or other important purposes.
6. Availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free or compatible with every browser or device. Some features depend on your browser's capabilities.
7. Intellectual property
The SnapDoc name, logo, design and site content belong to Pink Sky. The Service includes open-source components that are licensed under their own terms.
8. Third-party services and advertising
The Service may contain links to other sites and may display advertising from third parties. We are not responsible for their content or practices. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising is handled.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pink Sky will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to a nominal amount. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Karachi, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
