Which formats can I convert between?
You can convert between JPG, PNG and WebP. Most other image types your browser can open (such as GIF, BMP or AVIF) can also be used as the source.
Will converting reduce quality?
PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP are compressed, so use a high quality setting (85-95%) when you want to keep detail. Transparent areas become white when saving to JPG.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Kitly runs entirely in your browser. Your files are opened and processed on your own device and are never sent to us or anyone else. You can even turn off your internet connection after the page has loaded and the tool will keep working.
